About me
I’m consider myself a craftsman. That way I’m not locked into a certain materials. I like to make things out of wood, metal, composites, plastics, ect. I even like to build things that build things. This company grew out of my desire to push my crafting to the next level. I’m from the mountains in Colorado, so my work has a natural influence to it.
With help from robots
I’ve hacked together a couple CNC’s which help me do my thing. One is an X-Carve from inventables. It started as a 500x500mm machine, but then I extended it to 2000x500mm and added a laser.
The other is a Carvewright Compucarve that I converted into a rotary CNC.
If this thing goes well I hope it allows me to add to the fleet.
But why?
Creating things thar are both useful and visually appealing is the pinnacle of craftsmanship. I truly believe each item that comes from my store has a piece of my soul in it. I hope the joy that crafting things brings me shows in the items I make.
CAD, oh yeah
I’ve been using 3D Computer Aided Design (CAD) professionally for longer than I like to say, double digit territory.. Fusion 360 and Blender are my workhorses, but I’ve been into quite a few in my day.
